I stopped participating in thread contest because it always ruins my mood entirely whenever results are announced and I'm not part of the winners I'm a cheerful person, I've always been, hardly gets jealous, loves to celebrate others buh fawwk... I wish people understood the amount of unhealthy research I use to make I know there's ai... buh I would go through these projects whitepaper myself, watch their YouTube's or x videos, replay their x spaces, read chats on their telegram etc just to get winning points... back then I also use to make my graphics, cause i could design I would use different style of fonts, because then I saw writing as an art basically to spice things up and to give myself an edge, I would quote the projects post in my thread, add references from sources you could never had imagined of 😂 fast forward to winners announcement and i'm not a part of it, cry for me abeg 😪 and it's always one of the following ridiculous reasons ▸ team picked their community members ( especially thread hosted by idolos ) ▸ team picked video content in a thread contest ▸ team picked pre planned winners (usually their members) ▸ team use ai to select winners ( no human judge) etc ▸ team ghost and never announces winner it's hardly sane reasons like “oh, these winners actually performed better”... my 2 days of complete hard work in the mud 😂 time wey I for use dey sleep and I'm not the type to be loosing and still have this “keep going, one day you'll be lucky mentality ” imma just quit and find something else thank God for web3 jobs, ai, giveaways and meme contest I can afford keep my metal health in check regardless 😂 cheers.
