Crockett: 19 of the 26 Republicans on this committee voted against keeping FEMA funded and 9 are in states that were directly hit. I don’t understand why we pretend that we have all these issues with this agency when you don’t want to fund it.

She is told to “calm down.” “You’re out of control” and “I can't hear you with your yelling.”
The trope is that Black women are loud and aggressive. Rep. Crockett was defending herself after being body-shamed. They ignored MTGs comments until Jasmine spoke out.

Why is it such a nightmare trying to find a hair stylist as a Black woman? I have my sew-in and my braider that I'm happy with, but trying to find someone who styles and cuts natural hair has restarted the nightmarish cycle of trying to find, book, and actually make it to the chair of someone new. The prices are going up (which is fine I'm not hating on what you can charge), but the experience from A-Z has plummeted when looking for someone new. All I ask is, can we get the experience to match the price or the price to match the experience? If you do that, great...if you don't, please do better.
PS- Shout out to the good stylists out there...we gotta walk through fire to get to you, but we appreciate you when we find you.
