The throne is cold beneath me, but the galaxy burns.
They kneel because they’ve learned what happens when they don’t. I feel their fear before I see it — sharp, electric, deliciously honest in the Force. This is what the Jedi never understood. Peace built on hope shatters. -
Still… sometimes I remember the girl on Jakku, staring at the horizon, believing someone would come back for her. I killed that hope myself. It made me weak.
The Force answers me now — dark, vast, unquestioning.
