Came across this video today of the economist PM talking with Richard Haass, who was the president of the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, US! Richard Haass: There’s been a lot of talk comparing Indian and Chinese approaches to development. But hasn’t China grown at a higher rate than India for a longer period? Manmohan the Economist: China’s growth performance may be superior to ours but we have grown in other sectors that GDP doesn’t capture such as multiculturalism, religious diversity, ethnic diversity and values.
