🚨Send me your clips!!! I want to make a community montage to pair with the release of my next video.
It can be of any skill level, any game, and any style. Shorter or longer it doesn't matter. Even clips of funny moments would be great. Montage will be about 5 mins long so please send as many clips as you want. You can send them to me on discord @ booringe. Share this post around because I'd like to have a large selection of stuff to choose from.
Thanks.

You’re not saying “go back to era 1” directly, but it is a sentiment that a very small vocal minority definitely wants. That’s irrelevant to the point I was making. My point is that I think players are aware of this already, they don’t need to be talked down to because this happens with EVERY SINGLE GAME SERIES. Especially EA’s. I partially agree with there being eras although I would probably go as far to put BF1 (and that’s really only because of its popularity) as trendsetters and everything after as trend chasers. I am not taking into consideration the same factors that you are and I kind of disagree with some of your points because BadCom-BF4 have higher skill ceilings than games before it. Just because older games were slower paced doesn’t mean the skill floor and ceiling were higher. What you’re seeing as team play in the older games is the same argument that’s always been parroted by people who believe BF is a more team driven game than it’s ever been. This is said by people who are nostalgic about 1942, BF2, Vietnam, Bad Company, 3, 1 even. It’s always people who don’t realize they’re being carried by good players saying “the older games were more team oriented and harder” just to feel better while they delude themselves into thinking their games were better for it. We will see it in the future when people talk about BF6 retrospectively in 10-15 years believe it or not 🤷
It is crazy that I’ve had a pair of every generation of Apple AirPods Pro and they’ve all had the same issue with ANC becoming basically unusable within a year, which is the most important reason I bought them in the first place. At this point I have given Apple around 800$ for AirPods that won’t last a year when my Galaxy buds 2 pro have lasted me 3 years with no issues. I wish ANC could compare though 🤷 Sony’s sound like shit, technics sound like shit, and I can’t really use over ears either. At this point I don’t know what to go for because everything just kinda sucks in some way.
I think that every series evolves and goes in different directions over time and while it’s not nice to be one of the people that are not being catered to anymore, you can’t also delude yourself into thinking games like 1942 and bf2 have a place in the current landscape. It is mechanically clunky and not in line with the current expectations of games nowadays, and the fact that a game like Arma has been simplified substantially from 3 to Reforger and the overall simplicity of wardogs(same series but similar dna) should tell you that it has been pretty much to its benefit. Most of the core identity is still there. I think that’s something we can say about battlefield too at least until 6 came out 🤷

@Battlefield is now in its 3rd distinct era.
During the first transition, fans back then were as upset as todays fans are.
EA has no problem alienating its existing fanbase if they believe a new direction is more profitable.
They have done it before.
