Fake posts like these π are going viral right now, and some come from blue-check accounts. They show a doctored "Reward Hub" screenshot and push you to tap "Go" or click a link. That's how wallets get drained.
What's actually going on, straight from Binance's co-founder @heyibinance:
β’ The community rewards campaign hasn't launched yet. It still needs regulatory approval.
β’ There's NO cash voucher campaign live right now.
β’ Any link promising one is phishing.
How to protect yourself π‘οΈ

Only trust the official @binance account and announcements inside the real Binance app

Never click "claim" links in posts, DMs or comments

Never share your login, 2FA codes or seed phrase with anyone

Crypto has become very good at rewarding early attention, but not necessarily long-term usefulness. A project can trend for weeks, attract thousands of contributors and still struggle to retain actual users. At what point should we stop measuring hype and start measuring adoption?

The Binance hack shows the other side of decentralization.
πΉ ππ,πππ BTC worth around $1.47B was stolen and split across 19 wallets.
πΉ No central issuer can freeze native BTC at the Bitcoin protocol level.
πΉ Tether, Circle and other entities helped freeze billions in issuer-controlled tokens.
πΉ But freezing isn't the same as recovering stolen funds.
That's the trade-off: more control over your assets, but no central authority to reverse transactions or freeze BTC for you.

The Binance incident just exposed a reality many crypto users overlook.
πΉ Tether froze π.πππB+ USDT linked to the incident.
πΉ Circle froze πππM+ USDC.
πΉ Both issuers have mechanisms to block specific addresses.
πΉ Your private keys control your wallet, but they don't guarantee unrestricted access to issuer-controlled stablecoins.
USDT and USDC are useful, but they're not censorship-resistant like Bitcoin at the protocol level.
