SolSta Records

I have no illusions about selling images, but I do appreciate being part of the community of fans. However, if you’d like a large print of a musician doing their thing, & you’re in the Twin Cities, do swing by @SolStaRecords and check out some of my work above all that vinyl.

Time for a little #Monk on #vinyl; I believe I got this one from @SolStaRecords back a bit (but I’m not sure). There’s always something at your #localrecordstore to catch your ears. #shoplocal, so we can all have nice things, budget permitting.

There’s a large print of that second photo of @Samantha_Fish up @SolStaRecords , if you need something to hang over YOUR turntable (instead of up over that WALL of #vinyl)😁.

Rolling right into @TheSuburbsBand “Hey Muse!”, blasting on the Mac while editing. (There’s a large print of this 📷 up @SolStaRecords; you could go buy a copy of the album on #vinyl AND buy the print right off the wall😏). #supportlocal (photo for @FirstAvenue @TurfClubMN ).

Thanks to Phil @solstarecords for ordering this one in for me. #EarlsCloset #vinyl #randomcollectionofsongs #onemanstaste @ Minneapolis, Minnesota instagram.com/p/CiEKkslsE7E/… – at Minneapolis, MN

Shoutout to @SolStaRecords for keeping an eye out for a clean used copy of one of Cookie Lady’s favorite albums (which she inexplicably did not have a copy of, and she has plenty of VINYL…and CD’s and cassettes and 8 tracks;). This one takes me back to 11th grade English class..

Gotta love when you find an album that you “had” on cassette , finally on vinyl (a couple decades later). Thanks to @SolStaRecords for this @realdarylhall solo record.

Spinning this slab of #vinyl; grabbed it on a break swing through @SolStaRecords earlier this week. A nice soundtrack while there is baking going on in #CookieLadysWorld; our house #smellslikemusic.

Swung by @SolStaRecords to pick up a online “pickup in store” order; #ArtPepper. They’ve got their entire inventory of new & used #vinyl on their website. #shoplocal #buymusic

This “Art Pepper meets the Rhythm Section” reissue I picked up @SolStaRecords on @recordstoreday just sounds glorious coming out my Dad’s hand me down (circa 1965) speakers. The way they recorded back then; everyone live in a studio…you just wish you were in corner chair.

Currently spinning the new @CactusBlossoms album that I grabbed @SolStaRecords (along with some @recordstoreday vinyl). Looking forward to their @FirstAvenue show next month, too. (📷 of the band for/@FirstAvenue )

There’s some stuff @SolStaRecords that might be a online w local pickup, if it’s still there when their website opens back up. I love shopping in person, but having all the inventory online is cool. It’s dangerous, tho. 😂

Does my vampire heart good to see the young ones buying #vinyl from before they were born; @SolStaRecords is @mplsvintagemkt today.

@SolStaRecords ; fresh prints coming for the walls of the record store. 😁🎶📷

If you’re not heading out to a show tonight🙋🏻‍♂️ (or some sports ball 🤷🏻‍♂️), you could swing by @SolStaRecords ; it’s their “Sunday Spins” night this month. Bring some vinyl and a beverage; hang out and talk vinyl. Check out my #livemusicphotography on the walls (before it changes).
