I really hope with all my heart that when the DCU introduces Nightwing they show how he got his name from Superman.
I checked out of AEW when Blake Monroe left and never came back.
I checked out of WWE when Cena retired and came back when KO returned at summer slam.
Checked out again when KO lost to CM punk on SmackDown but came back when Blake had that no DQ match last week.
Any longtime wrestling fans completely checked out of wrestling as a whole? WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW, all of it?
I checked out after Cena’s retirement, came back after SummerSlam, and just 3 months later, I’m fucking drained again. After 20+ years as a wrestling fan, it just isn’t fun anymore. Feels like I’ve seen every storyline, promo, match and move there is to see. Nothing excites me like it used to.
I’m checking out again, and this time, for real. I’ll just revisit the wrestling from the past that I genuinely had fun watching.
