Pool update: Today we fixed a bug where if a miner moved between SoloPool regions (load balancer, failover, or a manual switch) could have their Prop+ balance on the old region penalized as if they'd gone offline. SoloPool is one pool — switching regions should never cost you anything, it was designed that way and reconfirmed as of today it doesn't. Logs have been reviewed and affected account balances restored. The offline penalty itself remains unchanged: it only applies to rigs with no shares on any region for 4+ hours.

Follow-up to yesterday's post. While verifying the fix we found a second, related bug: after a pool restart, the hashrate check could judge a miner against the wrong time window and apply the offline penalty to rigs that were online and submitting the whole time. This hit a number of miners overnight, including some we had just restored. Fixed this morning across all regions. Logs have been reviewed and affected balances restored. A penalty now only applies to a rig that has no shares on ANY region for 4+ hours — nothing else. If your balance still looks off, DM us your payout address. Thanks for bearing with us. #Transparency

Also make sure to check out stratumrace.com to see us compete in template performance! Remember they have an extreme advantage as their servers are hosted right next to this "test server" but we are still giving them hell with our network of pools and nodes!

xitter.gq/stratumrace/status/211… Just leaving this here....
1/ We've temporarily removed NexusPool from StratumRace and recalculated the leaderboards without it. Its full-template results were being scored on a partial template, not its complete one. It can return once our collectors credit every pool at its first complete template.

Solo $BTC pool mining progress report for the end of month 5 as follows… Day 154 with my NerdOctaxe Gamma. $BTC No block yet. Parasite Pool was the pool for the month 5 test. Parasite Pool stats had an avg ping of 21ms and a loss of 0.04%. See below for comparisons. #solomining #btcmining #nerdoctaxe #bullish @PowerMiningFarm @VoskCoin @Parasite_wtf @SoloPoolBTC @Public_Pool_BTC @AtlasPool_io @Braiins @ckpooldev Month 5 results as mentioned: See above Month 4 results: Solo Pool took the lead on performance and support. Avg ping of 15ms and the lowest share loss yet of 0.02% Month 3 results: Public-pool shares were split this month due to a power outage. Total share loss was 0.12% with an avg ping of 99ms Month 2 results: (runner up so far) Atlas Pool share loss was 0.04% and avg ping of 15ms One day between month 2 and month 1 was Braiins and the ping was not ideal so I moved on. That was an avg of 169ms. Share loss was not good as a result. Month 1 results: CkPool share loss was 0.09% with avg ping of 40ms Disclaimer: I’m in no way being sponsored in giving my opinion or results. While the results are specific to my situation, your results may vary based on your parameters and region. None of my amateur test results should be taken as a recommendation or negative towards any of these pools. This is simply a 30 day test average of each mentioned pool to determine which pool I will prefer to point my hashrate at the end of my tests. So, the winner of the tests as you can see was Solo Pool #solopool I have pointed my miner back to them and this time I pointed at their smart stratum to have it decide my closest server. Prior testing, I pointed directly to their L.A. server since I’m closest to it by around 100 miles. The runner up that will be getting pointed to when I get an additional miner is Atlas Pool #atlaspool All of the pools I tested for solo $BTC mining have their own approaches and niches. There is something for everyone. 100% solo mining or a percentage or share of the public pool. As an amateur new to solo mining, I enjoyed the challenge, the journey, the community, and the companies reaching out to say hi and offer assistance. Thank you for being a part of this process! After this, I’ll post monthly reports and of course let you know WHEN I hit a block and when I get a second miner. Below is the first 24 hours of Solo Pool since I switched. Month 6 has begun! Keep mining!

🌍 Global by design: 6 regions (US West, US East, Europe, South America, Middle East, Asia). The page auto-connects to the closest one. ✅ Real stratum work, real shares ✅ Capped at 80% CPU/GPU ✅ Keeps hashing in a background tab ✅ Honest odds on the page, no hype

⚠️ Solo Split & POOL miners: use a NEW BTC address! The browser miner is 100% solo. Mining here with an address already set to a Solo Split or POOL ratio locks that address to 100% solo. Keep your split? Use a separate address.
