Hey @NightwishBand I hope you are all well! The Elvenjig & Elvenpath live on @YouTube appears to have an issue. Audio is fine but the video is not so fine!!

And not one car in sight… The difference between the vista that architects and planners have designed and what the residents actually do. Would like to see the reality from the same PoV as these renderings.
If we’re going to build suburbs, let’s build them like this! Brabazon on the outskirts of Bristol has a density of 75 homes per hectare, triple the usual. It was originally planned for 2,000 homes but will now see 6,500 built There’s start up offices, parks, trees, a lake…

To all the people jumping on the @qotsa “if ‘where the goth girls at’ is a real song I’m going to be angry” ship. It’s a fuckin song title. Wait to hear the song. Is it tongue in cheek? Possibly? “The Fun Machine Took A Shit and Died” is an ass name but the song slays.

Hmm last month when @okayyouwinband dropped their debut album!
When was the last time you bought a physical album?

It’s no longer called red zone; the risk is still with the track staff as only they can assess conditions on the ground. Acceptance of them taking that risk is with the management.
Replying to @Some_Gamer
Interesting. Thank you. So Red Zone working permitted theoretically but in much the same way as a bank loan that the chief executive of a bank not only has to sign off but if the chief exec does sign it off, it is secured on his house? 1/2

Cutting risk to ALARP is working under safeguarded. In terms of lookout, as far as I understand, there are a number of criteria that need to be met before lookout would be authorised.

When doing some of my training I was told that, historically, track access arrangements was for the safe and timely running of trains and not protection of track staff. Reducing the use of lookout and simple lineblocks is a step to improving safety and reducing risk to staff

Popular myth: red zone working banned. Truth: It’s not banned but highly regulated with the decision to utilise lookout (Red zone) at a higher management level. It’s all about risk, the risk has been moved from planners/coss to directors and they rather not take the risk. 1.3
Red zone working should never have been banned without replacing it with an LUL type Engineering Hours regime. This would of course have been costly (eg upgrading electrification switching so it coupd be switched off and on very regularly and 1/2

There has been a change in competency management with a separate Coss Lookout competency; reflecting the reduction in use of lookout while still maintaining it as a rarely option for access, even if rarely used. 2.3

Yes there should be better access opportunities around possessions. Where I work, there is an 8 track system. I think an option for earlier possessions should be looked into with trains still running on the open lines. But this doesn’t work everywhere!

Almost all NR video statements sound very robotic. I know they are reading from an approved script but there’s no human feeling in it; making it feel very distant.
We now begin the next phase of the recovery operation at #Lewes, working alongside our industry partners. Today's site update from Lucy McAuliffe, Network Rail's Sussex route director.

I’ve an issue where I’m apparently following random accounts… never interacted with these accounts before and now they flood my feed.

FML the replies. It was a rubbish fire and the easiest way to manage and ensure it’s out is to empty the load.
Is this fly tipping on an industrial scale? Agonising, and A34 at a standstill

This tweet did not age well @awilsontv
Yeh I get that! Only interest at Victorious is Queens and KoL! IMO it’s likely they won’t tour for a couple of years after this year. Back on to album making!

So they want to do what the men of the 40s of this country were doing… Last time I checked the men and women of this country were fighting fascism…
I assume a career criminal, like Danny Tommo and a mob of people who no doubt have numerous convictions, trying to organise a militia is illegal in the UK @metpoliceuk @MetCC xitter.cf/Make_EuropaSnow/status…

Did you know that Britain’s M, A, and B roads are numbered according to zones, not done randomly?
