There was this jollof rice served at Raenest Exchange event @RaenestApp omg, as soon as I entered the venue , everywhere was smelling party jollof , I first thought was at an owambe , me that was on a diet , I couldn’t say no , immediately I got in that was my first request , wolfed it down in less than 5 minutes.

Last week, I opened Raenest Exchange 2026, moderating a panel on The Digital Dollar Economy 💵
With @Nonso_Obiefule, @teddi_speaks, and @connectwithtola, we unpacked how stablecoins are used for payroll, remittances, trade and everyday spending, and the risks to understand first.
My biggest takeaway: stablecoins aren’t a future idea in Africa. Freelancers, founders and businesses already use them to get paid and move money across borders.
The hard part isn’t sending. It’s getting in and out of local currency safely, cheaply and reliably. That’s where the real infrastructure work is, and @RaenestApp is already doing that.
Great to see the conversation reaching everyday users.
