We’re tired of being understaffed and being asked to do more with less. Our officers and those we serve deserve better. Despite the understaffing, our dedicated officers continue to answer the call. In fact, our officers responded to 308 calls in a 24-hour period ending at 10AM on Friday which included five robberies, six aggravated assaults, two residential bur-glaries, one theft from a vehicle and 9 instances of miscellaneous larceny. We need more cops.

This is the best Christopher Walken impression you’ll ever see in your life.
It’s not just the voice. It’s the utter absurdity.

On October 5, 1902, Louis Feinberg was born in Philadelphia. The world would know him as Larry Fine, one of the legendary Three Stooges.
His childhood was marked by an acid accident that damaged his arms. Violin lessons, recommended as therapy, not only restored his mobility but turned him into a virtuoso musician.
In 1925 he joined Ted Healy’s comedy act alongside brothers Moe and Shemp Howard, taking the stage name Larry Fine. When Curly came aboard, the trio broke away on their own and The Three Stooges became a worldwide slapstick phenomenon.
Larry was famously generous—giving money away, lending without limits, and living for years in hotels. His love for Mabel Haney, his lifelong partner, ran so deep that he insisted any female character in their scenes be named after her. They had two sons; the loss of the older one left a lasting mark on them.
After the act dissolved, he faced financial and health struggles, but he was never alone. Moe Howard and Mabel stayed with him until his death in 1975. Moe died just three months later, closing one of the most enduring friendships in show business.

This is South Boston in the 1980s. They already knew it was over. It’s profound how much this sounds like San Francisco today.
(This isn’t Bay Area footage, it's just too good not to share.)
They’re talking about a new development going up and what it’s gonna do to the neighborhood.
It’s been happening here for a long time. Right now it’s just a lot more intense because of AI money.
One of the most interesting things to me about this clip is that the young kids are excited and totally into it. That’s always how it starts.
