I think if the last week or so has taught us anything, it's that we don't really know what type of person Ethan is. And continuing to judge the type of person he is by his past persona, measured at a time during which he was a successful, seemingly happy, married family man, doesn't count for much when he's arguably no longer any of those things. The type of person he is is about to change. I don't think we have enough information to reach conclusions here. There are too many variables.

He could get into far worse controversies as his mental health declines. He could easily get into drinking, drugs or gambling, for example, as a way to cope with the loss of his show and family, spiral downwards, crash out and lash out, hurt someone, turn even more people against himself, ruin any chances of a comeback, lose his remaining money due to child support being set at a rate that far exceeds his new earnings, end up broke, destitute, hated even more and even more of a laughing stock of the Internet. Most people don't see those scenarios as fanciful, most see them as worse than this, and the fact that he's been through this controversy doesn't make him impervious to any of those ones. Also of the other streamers you mentioned, I think only one had kids when they cheated, and only one kid at that. And not a twenty-year marriage and an audience built on people viewing that marriage as wholesome.

This is legitimately the most dented take I've heard on Klein/11. I always hope this guy is a character played by a superb troll, but I think he's just an autistic guy who understands logic but not people, society, or life.
