This hateful/harmful/false mocking by Sen. Lee is equally disturbing & disgusting. This is not who we are in Utah and we cannot allow this without swift condemnation. This happened on Father’s Day, no less, while the family of the victims were grieving the loss of their parents.

Mr. Abrego Garcia was illegally abducted by the Trump Admin and, by their own admission, wrongly deported to El Salvador. He shouldn’t have to spend another second away from his family. I'm flying to El Salvador tomorrow morning to check on his condition and discuss his return.

I don’t know a ton about public health, but I’ve studied enough about it to know that through the early 1900s, most children died before they became adults. Penicillin and vaccines changed that. It is still painful when people die, but pharmaceuticals are not the main evil cause.

I would love to tell you about the times vaccines prevented me from getting sick, but every time it happens, I don’t notice. I just keep feeling well. Neither do you. Public health, when it’s working, is invisible.
