The concept of “Christian nation” does not require that nations as nations “come to Christ” or are “redeemed” or are immediate objects of the Gospel, just as the concept of “Christian school” doesn’t require these. The Christian nation only requires that Christian practices are common and a part of its formal characteristics (or a feature of the common good). This coheres with the idea that the proper object of the gospel is the individual or the elect corporately (if that’s what you prefer).

The ⅵew that there’s no longer a sabbath ㏌ the new covenant because our rest is ㏌ Christ is an over-realized eschatology. We have entered Christ’s rest by faith, but the full rest awaits the new heave㎱ and the new earth. Therefore, a weekly sabbath in the new covenant rightly points to the eternal sabbath which awaits the consummation.
The Sabbath is fulfilled in Christ (Matt. 11:28-30). I respect the views of friends who disagree. But we live by the FINISHED work of Christ. We possess rest *at all times.* We need not enforce Sabbath-keeping, whether at home or in society. Jesus the Fulfiller has come!

The actual “birthright” belongs to my children, and the children of all real Americans. They have a birthright to live in a country that resembles the one our ancestors established. And now that birthright, the only true birthright, has been destroyed in favor of the imagined “birthright” of children born to parents who don’t even belong in this country and who have no ancestral or cultural ties to it whatsoever. Total madness. Suicide. Words cannot describe how evil this is.

Christmas is a Christian holiday. Western civilization was built by Christians—and yes, we are the last line of defense against a hostile, secular left that hates both Christianity and Western civilization. Merry Christmas 🎄🇺🇸🎄
Far-right parties are claiming the festive season as their own, recasting Christmas as a marker of Christian civilization that is under threat and positioning themselves as its last line of defense against a supposedly hostile, secular left. politico.eu/article/how-far-…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Christmas is literally “Christ’s Mass”, a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus. Its celebration by atheists does not deprive it of its Christian meaning. britannica.com/topic/Christmas

America didn’t spring into being like some entity randomly birthed out of an eternal ether of “universal principles.” America was quite specifically founded by Christian Englishmen Not just “Christian principles.” A Christian *people.* Anglo-Protestant to be exact. The only future for evangelicalism is to stop chasing cultural favor and start preaching the whole counsel of God without apology. Crowds may shrink; depth will grow.

It’s one thing to be subjected to Muslim persecution. It’s another thing to usher in persecution in the name of “loving your neighbor.” Future generations will call you fools as they worship in basements and their daughters are stolen.

“It is historically true that the vitality and holiness of the church are usually in proportion to its reverence for the Sabbath. The Sabbath-keeping churches and generations have been the holy and zealous ones.”

For a longtime it was chic for Christians to say the “American dream” was idolatry. In reality, the American dream is about providing the necessary context for human flourishing (housing, work, family, security). That’s not idolatry those are fundamental human goods.
