Galileo. Thats the name. Galileo's pupil Viviani wrote that the young Galileo, in Pisa Cathedral, noticed a chandelier's swings took the same time however wide they were, an observation that led to the pendulum clock. A bored student timed a swinging cathedral lamp with his own pulse.

Dijkstra Algorithm Dutch Computer Scientist and Mathematician Edsger Dijkstra was sitting on a café terrace in Amsterdam with his fiancée Ria, and he designed the algorithm in his head, without pencil or paper, for a demo of a new computer. That was in 1956.

The forbidden geometry of the aether. A single circle that contains every possible impedance in the universe, every reflection, every standing wave, every way energy can refuse to enter a load. Drawn once, this chart becomes a portable altar: drop a point anywhere inside it and the circles and radials instantly reveal the exact length of transmission line, the precise stub, the exact capacitor or inductor that will force the wave to obey. Resistance and reactance spiral inward like alchemical processes. Wavelength scales crawl around the rim like the hours of a ritual. The center is perfect match—the philosopher’s stone of RF. Everything else is the long work of transforming mismatch into harmony. Black Magic Design, indeed.

Before, during and after "summoning." This stuff is real and really dangerous. Im lucky I got out with just hyperintense T2 brain lesions, a "third heartbeat" and a heart that keeps "misfiring" according to the echocardiogram after a decade of experimentation. But my daughter whom I so foolishly included is permanently disabled for however long of a life she has left. @dwpasulka is correct to warn people that we dont know what we're dealing with here. Id hopes that @JimSegala_Mupas working with "summoners" could help us find a way to mitigate the risks but even thats doubtful now with what that specific "summoner" has done to damage the core meaning behind all of "this." Bottom line: #CE5 #HICE #Psionics is real and is really dangerous. All you searchers beware.

Yes. Shawn Ryan, the former Navy SEAL, CIA contractor and host of The Shawn Ryan Show, has openly admitted involvement in drug-trafficking networks in Colombia. After leaving military and CIA contracting work, Ryan moved to Medellín, Colombia, where he became involved with criminal drug networks. Ryan says he helped set up networks and identify influential figures within Colombia’s drug trade. He deliberately entered dangerous neighbourhoods and developed relationships with people involved in narcotics. Ryan claims Colombian authorities investigated him and placed surveillance equipment outside his apartment. He has denied allegations that he was secretly establishing these networks on behalf of the CIA.

One of the top ten performances in history, and all she does is stand there and sing—no dancers, no nose rings, no wild gimmicks, no auto-tune. I don’t think the crowd realizes how lucky they are to hear this live.

The Universe Humming With Gravitational Waves In 1983, Ron Hellings and George Downs worked out a simple curve: If space itself is rippling with slow gravitational waves, pairs of pulsars should drift early and late together in a way that depends only on how far apart they sit in the sky. In June 2023, after 15 years of timing 68 of these spinning stellar clocks, the NANOGrav team reported evidence for exactly that pattern. The whole universe appears to be humming with gravitational waves whose single ripple takes years to pass.

In 1966, Mark Kac asked a simple question: If you could hear every note a drum makes, could you tell its shape? For a round drum like this one the answer is yes. However, in 1992 three mathematicians built two oddly shaped drums that play exactly the same notes, so in general you can't.

In 1982, Teuvo Kohonen, an engineer in Helsinki, was puzzled by our brains: Neighbouring patches of the cortex handle neighbouring things, like your thumb sitting next to your index finger, yet nobody ever draws that map. He found a tiny rule where every new example pulls the closest neuron and its neighbours a little toward it, and a tangled mess of neurons smooths itself into an orderly map all on its own. Within a few years his "self-organising maps" were powering a typewriter that wrote down spoken Finnish.
