Update: One Israeli died of his wounds.
The terrorists were with ample ammunition, on their way into Israel.
Prior version:
I really like how this is framed.
Notice how subtly they manipulate the narrative:
First, they lead with Netanyahu rather than the terror attack itself, instantly framing the story politically rather than humanely.
Next, they report on Israel tightening security to prevent further infiltrations after the pair of attackers were neutralized- except they omit that critical context up front. Instead, they lead by identifying the perpetrators as "Palestinians killed."
Only after framing them as victims do they recount the attack, and even then, they don't state the assault as a factual event. They attribute it strictly to the "Israeli army said"—despite overwhelming objective proof, including photo evidence of bullet impacts on Israeli targets.
Finally, they relegate the human toll to a passive footnote at the end, reporting merely that five people were injured, some critically. It is a miracle the terrorists didn't succeed in killing anyone, yet severe, life-threatening injuries are treated as an afterthought.
This reminds me of Mario claiming a while back that he wanted his account to be more "factual." So far, it’s a complete failure on the facts.
🇮🇱🇵🇸 Netanyahu has ordered the army to prepare to SEAL OFF the entire West Bank, following a shooting near Hebron this morning.
Israeli soldiers shot and killed 2 men the military says were launching a “terror attack,” armed with an M16 rifle and a handgun.
At least 5 people were injured, some critically.
Hebron is now cordoned off, and the full closure could start as early as today.
Ben-Gvir says the lives of settlers and soldiers are “a million times more important than freedom of movement.”
Netanyahu had warned that Hamas might try to attack ahead of the vote (which is just 4 days away) to sway the outcome, without providing evidence.

Shame on @thedispatch, supposedly a "true conservative" outlet, for allowing Obama lackey McFaul to lecture us about our Russia policy and "morality" when, mere days after the 2016 election he hosted his good buddy, Ambassador Kislyak, at Stanford.

What happens when peaceful youth protests meet violent repression?
In Myanmar, the answer has been underground resistance, digital organizing and, for some young people, a turn toward armed groups.
In the latest Unconventional Knowledge, Andrew Kureth speaks with GIS Southeast Asia expert Adinda Khaerani Epstein @AdindaEpstein about how Myanmar’s Gen Z movement evolved after the 2021 military coup and why its trajectory offers a stark contrast to youth mobilization in Indonesia and the Philippines:

This man is very dangerous. This man’s so-called political naïveté is astonishing. He wants to pre-9/11 immigration rules and regulations real smart.
When I helped organize Arab student clubs at universities in Virginia, we regularly competed against highly organized ideological groups whose tactics of the Muslim Brotherhood because they are aligned with the group.
They knew how to recruit members, mobilize voting blocs, build alliances, and compete for leadership positions in student governments, unions, Muslim student associations, and university clubs. Their approach was disciplined and strategic: gain influence, win elections, control organizational agendas, and gradually expand their political reach, often without openly discussing their ideological affiliations. What I witnessed taught me an important lesson: ideological movements understand that institutional influence begins at the grassroots level. This is not about religion or ordinary Muslim candidates.
It is about political organization, transparency, and the danger of allowing undisclosed ideological agendas to shape institutions. We should judge individuals by their actions and evidence, but we should never underestimate the sophistication of organized political movements.

Eulogizing Winston Churchill in the House of Lords on January 25, 1965, British prime Minister Clement Attlee recalled Winston Churchill crying in the hallways of the House of Commons in the 1930s:
"I remember the tears pouring down his cheeks one day before the war in the House of Commons, when he was telling me what was being done to the Jews in Germany—not to individual Jewish friends of his, but to the Jews as a group...His greatest virtue, his compassion, has never properly been appreciated."
There is a reason everyone from Tucker Carlson to the free Palestine movement vandalizing his memorials, are waging a war against the legacy of Winston Churchill.
As a Jew and as a Zionist I am forever committed to making sure his legacy will be preserved, it is the least we can do.

In February 2009, Abbas learned that Obama's Middle East envoy, George Mitchell, had actually taken a harder line than him on Israel talks.
In 2021, Biden's people outflanked MBS on the Palestinian issue.
It will happen again with the next D POTUS.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
Interesting. @brett_mcgurk, a former senior Middle East adviser to President Biden, said that during a secret visit to Saudi Arabia in early '21, MBS identified normalization w/ Israel as one of his goals for the next 3 years.
“We should have seized the opportunity,” McGurk said.
Buried lede: "The new AIPAC strategy will also allow its supporters to continue contributing to candidates who have said publicly that they will reject contributions from AIPAC, or from PACs in general."
If a candidate rejects AIPAC, why give a supporter a wink/nod to back them?
