Colson Montgomery re-aggravated his back on May 29th…I’d like to think this played a factor in his season. Two different players
Now that we’ve had a night to celebrate that win it’s important to state that Cleveland will not go down easily. We need to win game 3 to avoid facing Messick again in a game 4

The only pitchers with a 4-inning save and 6 strikeouts in postseason history:
1929 Lefty Grove
2017 Lance McCullers Jr.
2026 GRANT TAYLOR ‼️
A SPECTACULAR performance to put the White Sox ahead 1-0 in the series!
Something that flew under the radar is that after game 1 Venable flipped Braden and Meidroth in the order. Having Chase up in that spot was huge
I am kinda scared because I am feeling way too confident about this series. They’re relying on a Rookie Messick who we’ve seen plenty of times to win 2 games in his first playoff series?
With Messick starting game 1. I think we see a lineup like this:
1. Antonnaci LF
2. Vargas 3B
3. Mune 1B
4. Grichuk DH
5. Teel C
6. Meidroth 2B
7. Doyle CF
8. Colson SS
9. Braden RF
White Sox record vs remaining playoff teams:
Guardians 7-6
Yankees 3-4
Rays 2-4
Dodgers 2-1
Braves 2-1
Padres 2-1
Phillies 1-2
Brewers 0-3 (opening series of 2026)

I’ve been a diehard Sox fan my entire life. Seen the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows. Two years removed from the worst team in baseball history. Can’t fully explain how much this means to me. White Sox baseball in October…Unbelievable
