Guys let's calm down. The truth is that ever since we, as political party supporters and voters started making elections a two-horse race, we undermined democracy. Yes us. When the biggest opposition, PF, didn't participate in elections, no other party occupied the void PF left.
Now I'll address your unnecessary attack on me in this manner. In an interview yesterday, Daniel Chisenga alluded to lack of support from Tonse Alliance. Now, it's not Rocket Science that, Tonse has been left jolted after NRPUP left the Alliance. There's no money to support Dan.

Are you okay? No like seriously ? Did you even read the headline as to why he quit? Come man you are better than this.
Learn to ask, you'll get answers.
I deliberately put TWO (2) QUESTION MARKS for people like you, so that you can clearly and visibly see that I'm ASKING A QUESTION which needs an answer. Next time I'll put TEN (10) QUESTION MARKS. A QUESTION MARK LOOKS LIKE THIS ??????????

Great work sir.
Indeed water and sanitation remain a thorny issue in many of our rural areas and it definitely shouldn't be the case. We can do extremely extremely better.

The playbook will always remain the same for these people! This guy says he withdraw due to death threats one wonders why he didn't report it to the authorities. They dont have money!!
I agree. By hook or crook, this Govt has to push the Grow Zambia Agenda so that many gaps can be bridged in Zambia's hinterlands. It's unforgivable, it's unacceptable that 62yrs after independence, rural folks don't have access to clean water and sanitation.

This is why the president says we need to grow agenda needs to happen by hook or crook... we lost 30 years of development. 😭😭 but we are on the right path

I have had my fair share of that reality check being a water resources engineer in Chongwe at some point in my life. The lives people are living are not worth arguing over with a twitter user whos only inconvenience is when airtel 4G is slow. A real reality check is needed
Watching Jay Jay's sister, Pauline, deliver her maiden speech in Parley Friday morning, she also pronounces Petauke as Peta-Uk. Though MPs in the house raised eye brows, in all fairness, most urban folks that I know there also pronounce it as Peta-Uk. Pauline also says "Worra".😂

More than anything else, water and sanitation must be given top priority in our hinterlands. Kids can have free education, but before they even go to school, they're sent to go and draw water 5 - 10kms away from their homes at water patches shared with animals. 😭
And the lack of support from Tonse isn't a good reason to quit???
FDD candidate quits Mandevu race, citing death threats
By Elijah Munkombwe
FDD candidate Daniel Chisenga has pulled out of the Mandevu parliamentary by-election, saying he has been forced to withdraw due to threats directed at his family.
Chisenga explains that threats on his life began on the day of nominations and have since escalated to his family, forcing him to withdraw.

Uncle Fred, transparency and accountability starts with you. You must first explain why the Socialist Party doesn't have a candidate in Mandevu. There's a thin line between not participating and withdrawing from from participating.
M'MEMBE DEMANDS TRANSPARENCY OVER WITHDRAWAL OF MANDEVU OPPOSITION CANDIDATES
By Best Jere
Socialist Party leader Dr Fred M'membe has called on the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to provide clarity and ensure transparency following the withdrawal of three opposition and independent candidates from the Mandevu parliamentary by-election.
The candidates are Daniel Chisenga of the FDD/Tonse Alliance, Ntazana Musukuma of the Leadership Movement and independent candidate Daniel Daka.
Dr M'membe says the ECZ has a constitutional responsibility to protect the integrity of the electoral process and the voters' right to choose, rather than facilitate what he describes as uncontested walkovers for the ruling party.
He has urged the people of Mandevu and Zambians at large not to be discouraged, but to remain vigilant, organised and resolute in defending democracy.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia has not yet commented on the matter.
