We’ve had a tradition going on several years. Every year, on Diwali we feature our full “Born in Bharat” orchestra. And as always, this is dedicated to the soldiers who guard the silence our celebrations rely on.
Happy Diwali! #diwali2026

Crashed interceptor drone found in Dand village, Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. Police have recovered the drone.
The drone appears to be an upgraded version of the Terra A1 interceptor (Not Confirm). A Jetson module is visible, likely used for onboard compute.

13,629 FEET. A NEW HEIGHT IN AVIATION HISTORY.
An Indian Air Force IL-76MD has scripted history with a successful landing at Nyoma, marking the highest-altitude landing ever achieved by the aircraft anywhere in the world.
A remarkable demonstration of the aircraft’s enduring capability, backed by the exceptional skill, precision, and professionalism of its crew.
A milestone that reinforces India’s strategic airlift capability.
Pushing boundaries. Redefining limits. Making history.

my main takeaways;
A; this is such a Shaped creature. reminds me of soviet oxrich engines.
B; no more dedicated spinup turbine at the head of the fuel pump mounted externally. Just normal gas injected ahead of the turbine.
C; as expected still architecturally identical to BE4
D; Whoa momma that's the fattest fuckin' ball valve I've ever seen on an engine (the MOV)

FFSC is the hardest engine cycle in rocketry. the soviets built one in 1962 and never flew it. SpaceX flew one in 2019. This year two indian engines turned up, one from a two-year-old startup and one from ISRO. Wrote the whole thing. @ispaceflight_in

So a few days ago our neighbours tested a BVR missile called Fa'az developed in just 2 years from the moment it was shown at IDEF 2023 to its maiden flight in Nov of this year. So we will do analysis of it 🧵

Diwali has always held a special place in my heart and has been my favourite festival for as long as I can remember. There is something about the magic of lights, the sparkle and the fireworks that fills me with a sense of wonder and joy.
While in space, I captured this video and couldn’t help noticing the flashes of lightning dancing across the Earth below. Looking down from space, they reminded me of nature’s very own fireworks — a beautiful, unexpected reminder that the universe has its own way of celebrating light.
It felt particularly special to come across this sight, and I couldn’t think of a more fitting day to share it.
Wishing all my friends and their families a very Happy Dhanteras. May this festive season fill your homes and hearts with light, happiness, good health and prosperity.

Dear Modi ji, Dhanteras pe itna kharcha ho hi gaya hai toh ek TEDBF bhi approve kar hi dijiye! 😂🇮🇳
After all, our festive shopping in a single day is worth more than Pakistan's entire annual defence budget of approximately ₹90,000 crore.
Malik, jab itna kharcha ho hi gaya hai toh ye bhi le hi lete hain! 🇮🇳
