Eddie & Drusilla — speed art ⚾️ 🎀 Thanks again to @Spantosicus_ for bringing these two to life! I can’t wait for Alyssa soon! Eddie and Drusilla were childhood best friends and neighbors — growing up near each other for their entire lives thus far. But Drusilla’s own life is suddenly cut short. Now, a very heartbroken and traumatized Eddie is determined to find out who killed her. What’s even worse is that Eddie had a secret crush on Drusilla as well. He never got the chance to confess that he loved her or even goodbye. Over time, Eddie suppresses his grief until it eventually catches up to him — weighing him down and breaking him slowly. But among it all, Eddie also realizes that Drusilla was not the girl he once knew.

The actress I see as Drusilla Johnson, the main focus of my novel. - Kristine Froseth Honestly, there aren’t many others I picture when I imagine Drusilla. Kristine’s features and few characters I’ve seen her play capture how I’ve always seen Drusilla for several years. @Spantosicus_ did a great job of referencing her while still making her unique!

Drusilla Ann Johnson, the focus of my novel. 🎀 📣 Drusilla is THE it girl. Head cheerleader, perfect family, perfect home, and everything. You either love her or secretly want to be her. But on her fifteenth birthday, she is murdered. It’s a cold case — nobody knows who did it. Now, her best friend Eddie is taking the responsibility of solving her murder. Not to mention but Drusilla’s other best friend, Alyssa, is being accused of the crime. As time passes, more secrets get revealed, and it turns out that Drusilla and her picture perfect life has a hidden darker truth. Artwork done by the amazing @Spantosicus_

And the new title for my novel is…. “Forever 15”!!! Inspired by Mothica’s song with the same title, the title was chosen to capture the tragedy of Drusilla’s fate. How after being murdered on her birthday, she will unfortunately stay forever fifteen. Despite still planning the novel itself, I have made some big decisions already. I wanted to try and traditionally publish but I wanted a bit more creative freedom when it came to the cover and so forth. So, I’ve decided to self publish when I’m ready (standby for the next year or however long it’ll take). @Spantosicus_ will continue to make reference sheets of the characters for me or anyone who’s interested! It’s a surreal experience to see characters that’s lived in my head and heart for several years come to life finally. 🥹 Oh, and she might be doing the cover as well when it comes time 😏

Tarjei was a huge inspiration for Eddie! I love the OG Norwegian version of Skam and loved how he portrayed Isak. While coming up with Eddie, all I mainly saw was Tarjei. Overall, he was the main inspiration for his reference sheet that @Spantosicus_ did for me!

Eddie Stewart ⚾️ 🛹 Introducing the main character in the book I plan to write! Set in 2005, Eddie is a shy fourteen year old boy whose life is about to take an unexpected twist. After his childhood best friend and crush, Drusilla, is murdered on her birthday, Eddie is shocked and heartbroken. But, her case is cold. Nobody knows who did it and is blaming her other best friend, Alyssa. Eddie takes it upon himself to not only prove Alyssa’s innocence — but bring justice to Drusilla as well by trying to find out who killed her.
