Darkita #1 completed the full Ethereum → Bitcoin → Ethereum round trip on mainnet.
Its paired Bitcoin inscription reached the holder’s Bitcoin wallet. The return restored ownership of the same Ethereum NFT, with the same collection address and token ID.
Since then, local mint contract and desktop/mobile checks have passed. Today’s 15 targeted switching safety checks also passed.
Public switching and private mode are still in development. Release signing remains project-controlled, and an independent external audit is still outstanding.
We’re sharing the working technology, the progress, and the remaining trust assumptions so collectors can judge the evidence themselves.

In 2025, Sparkle Protocol made another first: @AnthropicAI @claudeai and @OpenAI Codex were connected to a Bitcoin node and used to execute the inscription process for the full 10,000-piece collection.
AI didn’t create the art. AI operated the Bitcoin infrastructure and inscribed it at scale.
