What’s so upsetting is that these evangelical belief buzzwords and statements just get brainwashed into the kid’s brains before they have even begun to develop critical thinking skills. And so it’s just fact for them. Like the sky is blue. Grass is green.Everyone is going to hell

Welcome to the village, my husband and I are also heathens and selfish for keeping our kids away from family members so they do not have to deconstruct and spend hundreds on therapy.

As a parent who did have to cut contact to PROTECT MY CHILDREN from their grandparents, respectfully, stay in your lane. Blood related doesn’t automatically assume access to children.

When i was in high school (15 years ago) they took out vending machines with soda, only water available. As far as I know that’s still standard in my county when I live.

In my area, there’s lots of kids who’s only meals come from school, chocolate milk isn’t the problem. And also, 6 Oz of chocolate milk a day isn’t what will lead to chronic health problems. There’s way bigger fish to fry in the discussion of food/health implications in the US.
