NHS bullying brought me to the point of suicide. It is ingrained. I’m convinced that up here it was part of the business model. I’m fully better now. But I’m fighting NHS bullying constantly.

Believe me I know to my cost, career and health what a bully looks like. You and your colleagues are the opposite of bullies. You are doing your ethical duty as doctors to raised concerns that affect patient care. If you didn’t you would be bystanders. And part of the problem.

Just realised that I am coming at this with a Benedictine lens.
St Benedict frames this in terms of doing what ‘would benefit the other’ and not myself. This is now how I understand kenosis in monastic living. It doesn’t mean being a push over or everybody’s dustbin.
