No daily review today following a serious medical emergency involving Higgos (he’s okay).
He suffered a severe bout of viral gastroenteritis this afternoon, requiring paramedic assistance, an ambulance transfer from Newlands and hospital treatment. Thankfully, he’s doing much better and was discharged tonight.
A huge thank you to the paramedics, Newlands medical team and everyone at Kingsway Hospital for their care.
We’ll be back tomorrow.

Absolute fire here from Monique Ryan:
“She is a negative force in Australian politics.”
For decades Pauline Hanson has been platformed and legitimised despite the racism, bigotry and division.
If you’re going to give her the platform and the reach, then hold her to account.

I’ve spoken about Victorian economic myths previously, so let's talk some facts.
The two main causes of Victoria's debt are:
1. COVID (which is pretty self-explanatory).
2. 30 years of infrastructure underfunding from Canberra.
Case in point: did you know Victoria didn't receive a single cent of federal funding for major projects like the Metro Tunnel, West Gate Tunnel, or the Level Crossing Removal project? We had to foot the bill ourselves because politicians in Canberra acted like the Australian border ended at the Murray River.
Meanwhile, comparable projects in NSW received billions in federal backing—like $3.5 billion for Sydney's WestConnex and over $5 billion for Sydney Metro.
Notwithstanding the awful decision regarding the Commonwealth Games, Victoria has recovered exceptionally well since the pandemic. We've returned the state budget to a $2.4 billion surplus, and our debt growth has been reined in to a manageable level—despite what the naysayers claim.
Crucially, Victoria is finally getting its fair share of federal infrastructure funding for big projects like the SRL, North East Link, and Airport Rail.
We all know the Liberals can’t manage the economy, as the attached image clearly shows. A vote for the Liberals risks undoing all the hard work and economic progress of recent years.

Simon has been found dead, reportedly from "suicide." RIP to Simon and to all whistleblowers who have died too young.
The truth about Lutnick will never die
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21.
Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story:

BBC News:
bbc.com/news/articles/c9q28d…
I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.

Bruce Lehrmann is an AFP and ASIO asset. Read his own comments to see how close he was to both the AFP and ASIO.
This is the TRUE reason the AFP as well as ASIO have been covering up for him.
This is perhaps the greatest scandal in Australian political history
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The attachments present no evidence that Bruce Lehrmann is an AFP or ASIO asset.
The attachments appear to be a transcript from Bruce's interview with AFP Detective Inspector Marcus Boorman.
It would have been part of Bruce's job to sign for classified documents.

Warning this absolutely distressing to listen to. But it's extremely important. This is the reality of our country and the system that abandons people in mental health crises, abandons the poor, and abandons the vulnerable.
A country that just slashed mental health services.
