Airplay On Earth: Record Year! Big Milestone!
While I was patiently waiting for “Through My Hands” to break the 100 spin barrier, two bigger numbers came up.
My 500th radio spin made 2026 a record year for airplay. The second big milestone was total spins charged past 1000.
The fourth was from @RadioFreeAmer-icana, Charlottesville Virginia, now in its fourth month on the twang-meets-pop station.
Two more “Stone On Stone” songs were on the ’waves, with “Every Day It’s Your Birthday” on Fresh FM 97.6 Woolgoolga and “Rock Song” on @VoiceBallarat.
“This Life” continued its strong support act with two plays on @rbluemountains and Fresh FM 97.6 Woolgoolga.
Three of “Through My Hands” spins were on the @wrokdown playlist on @947thepulse, Geelong, and Ferndale Community Radio, Plymouth UK.
This year has bettered 2024 (242) and 2025 (293) and the year is not over yet.
In 2026, building an audience is one play, one day at a time. Last week the single “Through My Hands" aired four times, stranding it only one short (99) of its all-time 100th play.

It’s the second week in a row that the original mix of my first solo single has had a pair of plays on the the local music morning show.
The EP “Through My Hands / This Life (And Other Lives)” includes a later mix (Second Coming) and a new master of the second version (Third Day).
