DEATH OF A PALINDROMIST
See, still as mirror reset,
a torso golden.
Words sap, mock,
cut me open.
Old as a tide,
I edit a sad, lone poem,
tuck compass.
Drowned Logos rotates.
Error rims all it sees.

Gold Era (palindrome)
A red log
A pansy tied
A garden mad
A flower up
A drowsy lilac
A lily sword
A pure wolf
A damned rag
A deity's nap
A gold era
Thanks to @dastulika for bringing my cartoon to life so colourfully, and for cleverly transforming one of the gnats into a half-lemon, half-gnat visual palindrome: tangy gnat!
Now that I have recovered from my palindrome bypass surgery, I may just go back to Xcreting spoonerisms here.
'Mad in the glow' meant glad in the moment.

Enola Gay (palindrome)
“Enola’s in,”
a monk said.
I ask,
“No medic?”
“One grey ash, too sere,”
monk said.
I ask,
“No man is alive?”
“Evil. A sin,”
a monk said.
I ask no mere soothsayer,
“Genocide?”
“ …. “
monk said.
I ask,
“No man is alone?”

Fall (palindrome)
Lear sits,
old, a maniac,
sees tired, lost, pure garden.
Madder Eve fades, pales.
Tin empires abase, rip men.
It’s elapsed—
A fevered, damned rage rupts.
Older, it sees Cain,
a mad, lost Israel.

Mass of Cygnus X-1 (palindrome)
Slang is sung, Y-class imago.
Listen–
No song of a swan.
Gamma G-spots warp,
suck radii.
Dark cusp, raw, stops.
Gamma gnaws.
A fog–
No sonnets I log.
A missal Cygnus signals.
Cygnus X-1 is a black hole in the constellation Cygnus (and also an epic two-part song by Rush).
A missal is a liturgical book containing the texts needed for celebrating the Mass. So in this 'drome the black hole celebrates its own massive mass.

ALT O faithful moon in heaven's silver sea, Our prized eternal geologic bride, You wax or wane adjusting ocean tide, Eclipsing pools of dark tranquility. Next daybreak came with no apology, Again I wait while you above me hide, A dim RSVP from back inside A quiet rendezvous trajectory. At dusk once more inexorably rise, Just up above horizon's water-edge, Reflecting in a wave of liquid light. Expect me in a violet sunset haze, Abandon me all day but I won't judge, Forgive a day's prerequisite for night. Blanks = C, D, H, I, N, S, V, and Y
Hadron the Collider (palindrome)
No sober arc, I'm so clever.
I part (not!) or probe.
Was all its wonder, its noise
but a dog fossil (bon mot!);
an atom no bliss of god;
a tube's ions?
Tired now, still as a web
or proton trap,
I revel−
Cosmic, rare boson!
Goddesses (so predictable!) gnaw angel, bat, cider-possessed dog.

Gnats, ‘tis prawn omelette!
Lemon warps its tang.
