Always and Forever for Dad 💜

FINAL: 88-64 Iowa Real thing starts Tuesday night. Numbers ⬇️

Jacob Koch enters the game and that means Iowa has played its entire roster tonight.

Trey Thompson and Ethan Harris are entering the game inside the final four minutes. First time we're getting a real look at them both. 79-54 Hawkeyes

Jaidyn Coon can, indeed, throw down.

It is an exhibition game, why are we reviewing that play right now?

Aaaaaaaaand second half is underway. Illinois Springfield with first possession.

HALFTIME: 42-28 Iowa Hawkeyes are shooting 50% from the floor, with some positives and negatives on both sides of the ball. Iowa is still getting out rebounded, though.

Media timeout on the floor with 11:57 to go in the half. Offense is starting to figure itself out a little more, Hawkeyes forcing more turnovers. Side note - Peyton McCollum has looked pretty good so far. Making a good first impression. It's 16-9 Hawkeyes.

Cam Manyawu enters the game at the 5 for Iowa to give McKeever some rest. I don't mind this being the set up, switches things up for a good contrast.

At the first timeout of the game it's 7-all with 15:24 left in the first half. First impressions so far? Iowa is getting out-rebounded. 2-8 from distance. Just need to get some jitters out it feels like.

First Hawkeyes coming off the bench and into the game are Ty'Reek Coleman and Peyton McCollum.

First McKeever block of the season is in the books. Yeah, people liked that one quite a bit.

McKeever wins the tip off and ITS OFFICIALLY BASKETBALL (exhibition) SEASON

Illinois Springfield starting 🖐️: Britton Dutton, Jorden Williams, Isaiah Davis, Alex Stell and Kobe Clark.

Iowa starting 🖐️: Kael Combs, Isaia Howard, Tate Sage, Cooper Koch and Andrew McKeever.
