It’s been the year from hell for the Eagles with injuries. I expect Howie to make 2/3 shrewd moves where a contender overpays for a piece. The Birds will be back to competing in no time.
Defensive Props continue to do the thang.

MONDAY NIGHT FAV
🏈 Cooper DeJean O5.5 T+A & Celtics ML (-110 Fanatics)
Cooper DeJean gets a matchup I love tonight. His workload is secure as a full-time slot nickel & box safety. That puts him right in the middle of a favorable tackle environment against Dallas.
The Cowboys have thrown on 75% of their plays recently, and opposing slot defenders combined for 14 tackles against them in Week 4. Dallas gives the slot 7 tackles+assist per game, 4th Most in the NFL.
CeeDee Lamb is another part of the appeal. The angle is Dallas funneling targets toward Lamb inside, bringing completions into DeJean’s area and creating chances to finish tackles after the catch. That’s a matchup expectation rather than a confirmed shadow assignment. DeJean doesn’t have to follow Lamb everywhere to benefit from that volume.
Using the Celtics ML as a dejuicer At home against a lackluster Bulls team.
I had this exact thought last game. Love everything Mikal has been for the Knicks, but it’s the logical decision.
The Knicks would likely prefer trading Mikal Bridges first to relieve second-apron luxury tax concerns, per @SeanDeveney
“If the Knicks ordered the players who could be traded to relieve second-apron concerns in order of preference, Bridges would probably be first. The Knicks could afford to move on from him, he could be replaced adequately–even with guys on the roster–and losing his albatross salary would immediately give the Knicks the room they need to pay everyone else. But that salary is a burden that other teams do not want to take on.”

The league just continues to dunk on itself when it doesn’t have to be that way.
Ramona Shelburne on what could happen if the WNBA title is won on Thursday:
"That celebration may not actually be on that court. I've heard there are discussions about whether there's enough time to turn the arena over in time for the fans to celebrate on the court. It could be moved to a practice court"
Unreal man smh
Aaron Glenn seems like a very nice man. He was a great Jet as a player.
I’ll stop there and go enjoy the day.🙂
Gets hurt and misses a drive to hook the lotto. Still cruises over.

DANTE TRADER JR. O5.5 TACKLES + ASSISTS — 1U
-135 Fanatics / -130 Bet365
This was plus money but still love the value tomorrow. Dante Trader Jr. has quietly emerged as a full-time safety for Miami over his last three games. There is an outside chance he will be in a rotation, but based off of coach reports, he’s entrenched as the starter in the box.
Trader is an in box thumper who lives around the line of scrimmage. Over the last 3 games, elite box usage numbers of 44.2% / 40.4% / 37.5%.
The matchup against the Jets is especially attractive. New York should look to establish the ground game, sustain drives and control the clock. That’s a favorable game script for a safety who’s now consistently on the field and positioned to clean up tackles.
The Jets are allowing the 5th-most tackles + assists to opposing safeties. Dating back to last season, Trader Jr. is a perfect 4/4 to clear this line when playing 88%+ of the defensive snaps.
LONGSHOT T+A LOTTO — 0.1U
I’m also parlaying Dante Trader Jr. 8+ tackles + assists with Chamarri Conner of the Kansas City Chiefs 8+ tackles + assists.

A little tackle lotto to spice up the Sunday slate
