For Drivers: 🚗 Treat cyclists as fellow road users, giving them ample space and maintaining a safe distance when overtaking. Patience and respect go a long way in fostering harmony between drivers and cyclists. 🤝
For All Cyclists: 🚦 Stay visible - day and night. Equip your bike with reflectors, bright lights, and reflective clothing to enhance visibility. Be seen, be safe! 💡🌙
For Children: 🚲 Teach your kids to ride safely by setting a positive example. Start with a bicycle that fits their size, and encourage them to wear helmets and bright-colored clothing. Remember, safety is cool! 🌟👦👧 👍
For Adult Cyclists: 🚴♂️ Prioritize your protection. Always wear a properly fitted helmet when cycling, regardless of your skill level or distance. Your head deserves the best protection! 🧢
🛣️ Share the Road: The City of Spring Hill recently installed new signs (including the one pictured) to remind drivers to be aware of cyclists on the roads. A traffic engineer reviewed the roads and routes in city limits and made recommendations for where we should put the signs.
