Our club once had a ruckman described by the then president as not overly tall, not very strong, but by God is he slow!

Congratulations to Ty Vickery on taking out the David Hall medal at last nights vote count. Ty was a narrow winner from John Walker and Skipper Mason Russell. Congratulations also to Matt Thompson and Sean Francis on becoming Life Members number 50 & 51.

It was fantastic to have two if his kids, Josh and Teaghan on hand to accept it. Also, an emotional speech from young Brenny Maxwell in honour of his late father.

Springvale Districts FNC last night celebrated 60 years of football and in doing so named a 30-year team. Happy to see Andy McQueen named as No 1 ruckman. We miss the big fella.

Another honour for premiership Pie Shane Morwood. He's been added to the Southern league hall of fame in recognition of his dazzling coaching record at Dingley. Guided it to four Division 1 flags in five years before stepping aside at the end of 2019.
