A bit of a different piece; I decided to look into the idea of creating player profiles based on the types of progressive passes they make.

Daniel Farke's cryptic press conference comments means it's unclear whether Calvert-Lewin will be starting tomorrow.
Regardless, I was already taking a look at some of his impressive aerial numbers earlier in the week (Thread).
If DCL does start tomorrow, I would imagine that he will try to drift towards van Hecke (assuming he starts).
When Leeds played Brighton in May, he won 4 of the 6 aerials that they competed.

Four Spurs (outfield) players now have more than 600 minutes so it's time to take a glance at their data.
82% of our goal kicks this season have gone short, compared to 66% last season.
Inspired by a similar style of post to @yureedelahi, I was interested to see who has possession of the ball, 30 seconds after a goal kick, and where.
Mateus Fernandes, Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the biggest increase (volume) in Premier League attacking 1/3 touches per 90 (vs last season).
Mateus Fernandes: 11.8 → 29.7
Mathys Tel: 25.2 →41.7
Mohammed Kudus: 28.3 →40.9
There was an example yesterday where Palace were pressured into losing the ball relatively high up the pitch, and allowed Tel to drive into the vacated space.
A LOT of metrics going in the right direction.
The numbers from our 3rd Premier League win in a row (the last time we did this was December 2023):
