I say this, not as a City fan, but someone who has followed the sport for decades. Man City are too big a player in the sports industry to be snubbed out just like that. Now you can argue what's ethical or unethical, that's up to you. The point is they have too much power and brand value. Forget about City, even the PL brand will suffer without Man City. The biggest player in the league plays for Manchester City.
