On Tuesday we took a trip out of the nursery to the play park and soft play. We were very lucky the sun decided to shine for us ☀️
On Monday we had song and dance factory in to kick off our fun week! We all had some amazing dance moves 🕺💃
As part of their primary 1 transition these children took home the Everywhere bear for a sleepover. The children enjoyed sharing their adventures with their nursery friends. 🥰#supporting transitions
The children have enjoyed creating their own restaurant in the nursery over the last two weeks. Some have also participated in making ‘yoghurt bark’ and decorating some fancy gingerbread people. #creativecooks #lifeskills

Week 4 of our forest kindergarten sessions. We found Gruffalo footprints in the mud and explored the forest to look for clues. The children made dens and had lots of fun on the hammock and tree swing again.
The children have been busy outdoors creating beaded wind chimes for our ‘calm colour monster area’ and planting wildflower seeds in the beds. We found lots of bugs in the soil too! #TheColourMonster #greatgardeners
Today the children going to school had the chance to listen to the story “The colour monster goes to school” as our last read from the 3 read programme with Mr McGuigan who will be one of our primary 1 teachers @StTimothysPS
Last weeks play on pedals was all about balance and coordination as we played the shark and snake game. We also showed off our memory recall as we discussed how to be safe on the bikes by wearing a helmet and using the brakes when stopping.
Some of our children have been busy role playing helping build our new sand pit for our garden. They were very excited to be builders and make sure no screws were missing! 👷♀️👷♂️
This week outdoors we have been enjoying the lovely weather while learning all about taking care of plants and what they need to grow. We used our imagination as we used play dough to demonstrate what we need to plant seeds and create some wonderful paint pictures 🌺🌼
