𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐒 𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝟒𝟒𝟕 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐒 — 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐑𝐔𝐆𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐔𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐍 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐃 Jamarian Hewitt, 39, turned a Dallas storefront into a one-stop shop for drugs and firearms —and he did it while already on probation and out on bond for a prior felony. U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr just handed him 𝟒𝟒𝟕 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬, more than 37 years, in federal prison. Hewitt is a member of the Four-Deuce Oakland Crips, convicted by a federal jury in April 2026 of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, using a communication device to facilitate a drug felony, and conspiracy. The case grew out of 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴, an ATF initiative launched in January 2024 to target gang members running crime along two intersections of Dallas's Malcolm X Boulevard corridor —a stretch of the city residents say had been terrorized for years.
