"Hmmm, no service men or woman are more than others, just different circumstances. Myself, I cannot say I deserve anything; only those who give can. But I can say I was and proud for serving. My family moved to America and I decided to give back joining the army. I served, deployed, came back....a few years later, life caught up to me, I lost my leg above the knee. And I have many jokes and can laugh because the Army taught me to surge forward. I spent a lot of time, a couple days a week at the VA hospital but I do not let it knock me down.
