How can THC be classified under two different drug schedules? Dr. David B. Allen, MD, exposes a glaring contradiction in federal cannabis policy: cannabis has been classified as Schedule I, while FDA-approved medications containing THC are classified under Schedule III. If THC has recognized medical uses, why is the cannabis plant treated differently? In his testimony, Dr. Allen challenges the scientific and legal foundations of cannabis prohibition and makes the case for removing cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act entirely. Cannabis doesn't need another schedule. It needs to be DESCHEDULED. 🎥 Watch Dr. Allen's full testimony: 🔗 deschedule.earth/david-b-all… #DescheduleCannabis #DescheduleEarth #CannabisReform

Canada legalized cannabis and youth cannabis crimes dropped 50–60%! Canada’s Cannabis Act aimed to reduce youth cannabis-related criminalization. •We assessed all Canadian police-reported youth offenses, 2015–2021. •A time series approach evaluated pre- and post-legalization youth crime trends. •Legalization was associated with 50–60% decrease in youth cannabis crimes. •No evidence of associations between legalization and property or violent crimes. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

By doing so, trump is attacking 70% of US citizens that want cannabis legalised. Not a good way to get undecided voters to his side. No S3, no votes. $MSOS

JUST IN: Cannabis legalization in the U.S. has been associated with increased hospitalizations due to cardiovascular issues, including heart attacks. The peer-reviewed study, published in the journal BMJ Open, looked at data from more than 50 million hospital discharges between 2012 and 2018 in the Western region of the U.S., where by 2018, 98 percent of the population lived in or bordered a state where cannabis use had been legalized. It found that the legalization of recreational cannabis sales in the region beginning in 2014 was linked to an increased rate of hospitalization for heart failure, myocardial infarction (heart attack), and atrial fibrillation, compared to regions whose states did not broadly legalize cannabis. Atrial fibrillation refers to an irregular and rapid heart rhythm. Specifically, each year of legal cannabis sales was associated with a 2.3 percent increase in hospitalization rate for atrial fibrillation, a 3.1 percent increase for heart attack, and a 3.7 percent increase for heart failure, the study said. The Western region includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Individuals admitted to hospitals in this region were a median age of 51, compared to a median age of 55 for other regions. The individuals from the Western region also tended to identify more as Hispanic, Asian, or Native American and less often as black or white compared to other regions.

Donald Trump says medical marijuana has helped many people and argues that legalization must come with strict age limits and proper regulation. He also points to Florida as an example of how marijuana policy could be handled. Legalization needs rules, control, and accountability.

As cannabis prices crash around the country, struggling producers with big industrial buildings outfitted with power, fiber, water and HVAC systems thought they had a golden ticket to the AI race. But moratoriums, NIMBYISM and power constraints have crushed most of their dreams.
