Last year I announced @kick hit 25% market share vs Twitch.
Today: 35% and over 1 million average live viewers. More people watching Kick every night than flying on every plane in the sky.
We believe real live entertainment only compounds from here, and that Kick will be the home for it.
This all started when Twitch banned us in 2022. It ends the next time I quote this post.
3 years ago Twitch banned my co-founder's account and slashed all creator rev share. In response we launched @kick which everyone laughed at and said could never rival twitch.
Today Kick reached >25% market share against Twitch for the first time
