Big news: The @StakingRewards platform is joining @TheTieIO.
Since 2018 we've been building the trusted source for staking and on-chain yield data. Joining @TheTieIO makes it institutional-grade on a whole new scale. What this unlocks:
- Our customers gain access to The Tie's network of hundreds of institutions: hedge funds, asset managers, banks, exchanges, and custodians.
- The Tie's market intelligence and on-chain data come to the platform, and our staking and yield data comes to the The Tie's products used across that same institutional network.
- Our ratings stay independent. That doesn't change, it's the whole point of Staking Rewards.
We'll continue to operate the Digital Asset Yield Summit and Looping Collective independently under Finrate AG.

Alpenglow went live on @solana today.
Blocks now finalize after one or two rounds of voting, instead of waiting out 32 slots under TowerBFT.
The upgrade targets finality of about 150 milliseconds, down from roughly 12.8 seconds before.

1/3 HSP-029: Establish a 24-Month Issuance Ramp to a 1.6% Target Rate of NEAR Token Emissions — Vote now!
This proposal aims to gradually reduce $NEAR's annual token issuance from 2.5% to 1.6% over 24 months, helping reduce token dilution and strengthen long-term tokenomics.
$NEAR holders are voting on HSP-029, which would lower the network’s max annual issuance from 2.5% to 1.6% over 24 months.
The vote runs through November 2.

Finality is when a transaction can no longer be reversed. On @solana, that takes about 12.8 seconds today.
Alpenglow, expected to go live on October 21, is designed to cut that to roughly 150 milliseconds.
The staking subsidy on @SuiNetwork is scheduled to fall another 10% at epoch 1280, around 8:05 PM EDT today (00:05 UTC October 14).
After the cut, the subsidy fund provides about 254K $SUI per epoch for staking rewards, 77% below its initial level.
Since the Pectra upgrade in May 2025, staked $ETH is up 28.5% while active validators are down 20.8%.
Pectra lets each validator hold far more ETH, so stake has been consolidating into fewer, larger ones.
Grayscale was early to staking ETFs, and it shows.
@Grayscale's two Ethereum funds are now among the largest $ETH staking ETPs by assets staked, per Grayscale and our data.
Staking lets investors potentially earn rewards for helping secure a blockchain network like Ethereum.
The Grayscale Ethereum Staking Mini ETF ($ETH) was among the first US spot crypto ETPs to enable staking.
Today, most of its ETH is already staked, so new inflows dilute rewards less.

Staked $POL has rebounded since @0xPolygon's fee-funded staking boost went live on October 1.
Staked POL fell 81.4M in September. From September 30 to October 6, it rose 39.5M to 3.46B.
The boost pays stakers 27.3M POL of priority fees and runs through December 1.
UPDATE: estimated 7.7% APY is coming for POL stakers starting Oct. 1*
For the next two months, accumulated network fees will fund higher rewards for people securing Polygon Chain.
