This war is so heart breaking.
I made another passionate defense of Ukraine in this week’s podcast, trying to do all I can to rally support for the cause. (Same as I’ve been trying to do for the past four years.)
If I were about twenty yrs younger and without a family (I’m 49), I’d have already headed over there with a rifle to help (as you’ve done).
Putin must be stopped. And the weakness and timidity of the West is embarrassing and unconscionable.
History will not be kind to our shameful, tepid response.

Kaylub Giamanco says he is haunted by the sound of children pleading for their lives.
He also praised the teacher for grabbing the gunman's weapon, allowing him to take a shot at the shooter.

Yes, He was.
But Christians don’t believe that “God is in control” means God prevents human beings from committing evil.
The Bible is filled with murder, war, persecution, slavery and innocent suffering. Jesus Himself was tortured and executed.
Christianity teaches that evil is real, human beings are responsible for the evil they commit, and God will ultimately judge it.
So yes, God was there during the Holocaust. And the Nazis will answer for what they did.
“God is in control” doesn’t mean nothing terrible will happen. It means evil doesn’t get the final word.
