A new sculpture outside the east entrance of The Oracle is a symbol of peace and hope created partly by young people through a project tackling knife crime. The Armoured Heart is partly created from blades handed in to knife amnesty bins. rdguk.info/Armoured_Heart_Pz…

Deeply important forum on knife crime and mentoring young people last night. It was inspiring to hear Amanda and Stuart Stephens speak about the Online Safety Bill, and to hear the innovative work of @no5youngpeople and @StartingPointRG, helping young people across Reading. 1/2

Highlight of my time @BFfC_Child was meeting with some of our children in care yesterday. Generous with their time, honesty & feedback on their carers, education, home, social workers - time to build on the strengths & address the gaps #relationships @StartingPointRG
