Tennessee’s atmosphere for an big time night game is still elite. I can’t stand them but there is no doubt it has an effect
This is actually a very valid statement
Since 1995, this is the 33rd time TENN has been +3 or better in the turnover battle at home
Most of any team Division 1 team in that span
They are 32-1 in those games, most such wins of any school
Only loss was 2006 LSU game
Several schools are perfect in home games where they are +3 or better in home games during that span, so they have higher winning percentages
But no one has created as many such games as UT
Per @Stathead, 27 players in NBA history, through their first 10 career games, have attempted at least 100 FGAs while shooting less than 35% from the field.
Barring good shooting night Monday in 10th game, Cam Boozer would have highest TS% on this list with some notable names

With Isaiah Stewart and Scotty Pippen Jr. injured, I broke down what it means for the Grizzlies’ rotation and how Tuomas Iisalo could expand roles or lineup combinations

Thunder went Aday Mara/I Hart in the starting lineup in their last game
Some pretty good early results
Rim may be hard to access tonight and Coward and Wells gotta help in the boards
Getting good looks and hitting 3s also could be key
Per Clean the Glass,
Among 5-Man lineups with at least 100 possessions played together this year, the
Ty
Ced
Wells
Cam
Edey
Starting lineup is
5th in NET RTG
5th in Half Court offense
5th in Half Court defense
Grizz currently have top 5 starting lineup in NBA
My point about having no interest in Sabonis is that we literally rebuilt the front court this offseason and did not move for him then
I love Sabonis, have loved him his whole career, but it makes no sense to pay assets for him now when we didn’t this offseason
Replying to @StatsSAC
Don’t you think Sabonis is a premium version of Edey? Not saying he’s worth $35 mill per year more but….
Grizz acquired him BeefStew and signed Post this offseason
Their best basketball is with Edey and Boozer on the court
If they had interest in Sabonis, why not acquire him this offseason? And with proof the moves they made are working, why go after him now?
Makes Zero Sense
The Toronto Raptors, Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets and Memphis Grizzlies are expected to have varying levels of interest in acquiring Domantas Sabonis, per @BrettSiegelNBA.
The Zach Edey Defensive Impact this season
Edey ON COURT:
DEF RTG: 93.5 (100th)
Edey OFF COURT:
DEF RTG: 117.2 (25th)
With Edey ON, Grizz are 100th percentile in preventing offensive boards and 98th percentile in defending the 3 (other Grizz more free to challenge)

I love these lineups but they cannot be with Kris Murray (who I like) they need to push these as 125 ORTG lineups
3 point variance not swinging in Grizz favor tonight
They are 15-22 inside the arc
Prioritizing paint looks and then countering with good Corner 3 looks while taking care of the ball could be victory path tonight
Turnovers are emerging as an area of concern for Grizzlies
Major factor in loss to Pelicans
Big reason they do not have lead tonight
-14 in turnover department past 1+ games

Molly Weasley is the biggest badass in the Wizarding World
Bellatrix was one of Voldemort’s most dangerous and experienced Death Eaters. Molly defeating her was satisfying, but the movie made it look far too easy.
That should have been an intense, hard-earned duel, not an almost effortless victory.
Molly deserved that moment, but Bellatrix deserved a much tougher fight.

Tuomas Iisalo was proud of how the Grizzlies competed down the stretch. Mentioned how they’re the second youngest team in the league and made a lot of good decisions.
“We are not a fully formed contender. We’re in the rebuilding phase, and we’re off to a great start with that.”
