No longer active, likely my work on anything related to the League of Ireland will be finished after 2026 season.

Finally had a response from these gobshites. Never once violated any of these terms. Must be caused by the fact that I travel a fair amount (different IPs) or that I flip between matches frequently to watch goals as they go in.
Certainly won't be giving these morons another euro.
Mario Lara (@futbolcubano) is likely the world's expert on Cuban football. He'd be happy to speak with any journalist interested in speaking to an actual Cuban on this matter, rather than some rabid, ideologically-possessed Irish clown...but we both doubt there'll be any takers.
New @bfcdublin kit paying homage to Cuban kits of the past and to the connection between Cuba and Ireland with Massive Attack!
Been having this problem 4-5 weeks. Tried different devices/WIFI networks, contacted their support...but they seem know less about M3U8/TS files than I do. Isolated the exact problem with Dev Tools and sent it to them with tips to fix, still heard nothing back.
Utterly useless.
Joey Wuna came off the bench for Shels tonight, making him the youngest player I have on record for Shels in the top flight since Tommy Carroll in 1959 (admittedly many DOB missing in the 60s & 70s).
David Toure did play at a younger age in the First Division for Shels in 2021.

Both UCD goals tonight came direct from free kicks by Adam Wells.
This is the first time a player has scored twice from direct free kicks in a First Division match since I started tracking goal details (2023). Last time it happened in the Premier was 28 May 2021 (Will Patching).
Quite a comeback for Waterford tonight in Dundalk -- though not too long since they achieved a similar feat.
In their first match after Friday's announcement, Treaty United handed a LOI debut to goalkeeper Kevin Fitzpatrick.
If one were to consider Treaty United as the same club as their predecessor(s), he'd be the third Kevin Fitzpatrick to keep goal in an LOI match for the club.
Just a few months to surpass Paddy Duncan. Not so easy with Harry Buckle though...he was 43 years and just over six months when scoring his.
I believe -- my focus is not international matches -- that Kian Leavy's goal tonight makes him the first St Pats player with an Ireland cap to score in the League of Ireland since Keith Treacy in August 2016.
With Adam Brennan having made his international debut, I'm fairly certain that tonight marks the first time Shamrock Rovers featured four players with Ireland caps in a Starting XI in a LOI match since November 1980 (John Giles, Cathal Muckian, Pierce O'Leary, and Noel Synnott)
Pádraig Amond's hat trick tonight makes him the third-oldest player I have on record to score a League of Ireland hat trick -- and the oldest since 1928, when Paddy Duncan of St James Gate scored three against Brideville. Harry Buckle of Fordsons (1925) was the other.
Tonight’s Player of the Match award, as voted by Teng Tools, is our hat-trick hero Pádraig Amond 👏

Clocked at 15 seconds, Tommy Lonergan's opener tonight would be the fastest goal I have Waterford scoring in the League of Ireland.
Their previous fastest in the top flight was by Jack Fitzgerald (25 seconds, January 1959) and they've had two at 20 seconds in the First Division.
Not to be outdone, Enda Stevens' late winner tonight came nearly 18 years after his League of Ireland debut.
That makes him third on this aforementioned list, with only Arthur Fitzsimons and Damien Delaney having waited longer after their debuts for a League of Ireland goal.
After a lengthy career abroad, Carl McHugh scored his first LOI goal on Friday -- nearly 15 years after his LOI debut.
Of those who did score, only 3 players waited longer (in terms of days after debut) for their first LOI goal: Arthur Fitzsimons, Damien Delaney, and Baba Issaka

Odhran McHugh’s goal tonight makes him the youngest ever goalscorer for @FinnHarpsFC
With Waterford attaining their first win of the season tonight (congratulations to them), a look at the previous 12 teams to fail to win in their first 16 matches of a top flight season shows just 2 managing to lift themselves off the bottom -- both Limerick FC (1949/50 & 2015).
Certainly not all doom and gloom though for Waterford -- every one of those twelve played a shorter season (many far shorter) and the Blues still have more than half of their fixtures remaining.
