Unfortunately, there have been unforeseen complications with SHBot, and its server, and it will be offline for the foreseeable future. We are looking into it and remain hopeful that we can restore it, but I want to be realistic with everyone that it may not return.

Hey friends! We recently had an issue preventing SHBot from connecting to Twitch Chat. We have taken corrective measures to resolve and prevent this moving forward. Sorry for any interruptions or inconveniences this may have caused! Stay Healthy Friends!

Hey all, As some of you may have noticed SHBot hasn't been feeling that well the past few days. Turns out our connection to Twitch needed more water to stay healthy. We have corrected this and things should be back to normal. Sorry for any inconvenience! Stay Healthy Friends!

With the upcoming changes to the @Twitch API there is a real chance that SHBot will not be able to continue functioning. We are looking into updating the bot, but have had difficulty with this in the past and there may not be time. discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/ip-a…

While we want to update the bot and get it working there are other limitations that may prevent this, such as the new Twitch API not being as robust as v5. With these limitations we may not be able to get the bot stable, even if we had time.

Pretty sure that had we decided to make a Twitter based bot it would actually just be @drinkwaterthot.
As some may have noticed, SHBot was not updating as it should have for the past few hours. As it turns out our ISP had a bit too much water, and they needed an extended restroom break. They appear to be back from their break now and all is well. Stay Healthy Friends.

For anyone that noticed SHBot not being around it turns out or server forgot to keep up it's water intake and ran into some issues! We have corrected the issue and it's back to full speed, yay! Sorry for the interruption!

We have rewritten SHBot's DB and it now handles channel and stream data better. This *should* put an end to the bot just not talking in channels from time to time. We will be monitoring status with the changes we made and will make adjustments as needed. Stay Healthy Friends.

Some may have noticed that @Twitch wasn't drinking enough water or taking breaks, and had a brief interruption to services. As a result you may see strange things with chat, and SHBot, for bit. We are monitoring, and will advise if anything happens. Stay Healthy Friends.

SHBot version 2.4 is out! Most changes here are to the core structure of the bot to help it perform a bit better and run into issues less often. We did update the !shbdad command to be usable by Channel Owner/Mods/Subs only. Stay Healthy Friends.
