This guy will be the first to propose renting out your brain overnight while you sleep to supply the growing AI need. We will only use part of your neural circuitry overnight. Initially it will lucrative. Instagram posts of lambos and parties. Increasing interest drives down the payments. Then come the problems. The vacant stares then the violent outbursts. Great asylums where millions are placed under the guise of corporate responsibility and humanity but they are instead simply fed on for the superintelligence. 😂
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

🇨🇦🇺🇸 There’s a fundamental difference between being prepared to wait for a better deal and having a strategy of doing nothing. Carney’s position is that Canada shouldn’t sign a bad agreement simply to meet an arbitrary political deadline. That’s not the same as announcing that negotiations are over until January 2029. And Stelco is a separate, immediate issue. Cleveland-Cliffs acquired Stelco in 2024 with legally binding undertakings under the Investment Canada Act, including employment commitments extending to 2029. Ottawa is now challenging its compliance with those obligations. The government doesn’t need to own Stelco to enforce the commitments made when the acquisition was approved. The real questions are whether Ottawa can secure meaningful relief for affected workers, enforce those undertakings, and continue negotiating a sustainable trade arrangement. Steelworkers cannot afford two years of uncertainty. Neither can Canadian manufacturers. But a rushed agreement that fails to address the underlying trade issues could leave those same workers facing another round of uncertainty. We should be demanding measurable progress on both fronts, not confusing a negotiating position with a decision to abandon negotiations. 🇨🇦 The objective must be a durable agreement, accountability for existing commitments, and immediate attention to affected workers.
‼️ BREAKING: Carney just told POLITICO he's prepared to wait out Trump on a trade deal. Asked if he'd wait for the next president: "Well, if that's what it takes, yeah." He was LITERALLY elected for this. In March 2025, he called the election asking for "a strong mandate to stand up to" Trump. He got it. And for the first time in history, he manufactured a majority. HE HAS NO EXCUSE. Now the plan is to wait? Trump's term ends January 2029. That's over 2 YEARS. This is the MOST EXPENSIVE game of chicken in Canadian history. So far, we have: No deal. No deadline.
And NO RELIEF from the added tariffs from the fall. His message to Canadians: "every month that goes by, Canada grows stronger." TELL THAT TO THE STELCO WORKERS WHO CAN'T WAIT 2 YEARS. The government is literally looking for new buyers for a company they do not own while simultaneously suing them for their failures.

More data showing a rate pause would have likely been a better choice. The economy is looking weak. economics.td.com/ca-real-gdp

Rest in peace. He was a legend. Grew up on Star Trek.
Legendary actor Sir Patrick Stewart, best known for his roles as Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek and Professor X in X-Men, has died. He was 86.

What a legend. So funny. He does have a point. Rare time in history.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

Ever heard a transcript of #Trump’s drivel read aloud by a normal person? It’s more serious than you imagined & #GOP will admit. Transcripts to be preserved for future #USA generations to reflect on the premise: “Tyrants must ensure the audience is dumber than themselves.” ✔️
Here’s another clip of a woman reading Trump’s words verbatim from a recent rally in Mississippi that puts a giant magnifying glass over how gone he is cognitively and unfit he is for office.

Borderline incoherent and tangential. I can't imagine going to a rally, listening to that speech, and cheering. What is going on with the Republican party?

Seems premature. Canada has an afforibility and growth problem. Carney's handshakes and MOUs don't equal actual growth. Underlying inflation is around 2% defending against a possible further increase. Is the insurance is worth the cost? reuters.com/world/americas/b…

Sometimes Costco has some deals. $25 off per package of AAA brisket today. 17.3 kg for $218 Laughing that 12.60 / kg or 5.72 / lb is a steal in Canada.

Whoever advised Eby to pull a snap election really gave him the wrong advice.
And just like that, it’s over and it’s a clear win for the Conservatives in BC. globalnews.ca/news/12112175/…

TRUMP THREATENED A CANADIAN COMPANY. THEN HE DISCOVERED IT EMPLOYED AMERICANS. In September, Trump threatened to bar Bombardier from the U.S. market. On Monday, he changed his tune. “But now I find out they have a presence here, and we’re not hurting them if they’re in Kansas.” Bombardier employs approximately 3,500 Americans and works with 2,800 U.S. suppliers. And here’s the extraordinary part. Bombardier had publicly disclosed its American workforce and suppliers back in JANUARY. The information was available all along. Trump threatened an international manufacturer without apparently understanding its American operations. Only after Kansas lawmakers intervened did he retreat. Shouldn’t a president understand whose jobs he’s threatening BEFORE making the threat?

I'm not arguing that Biden was a good president, he (like Trump) is a bad president. But overlooking a few things diminishes the blatant corruption that has come from Trump. Thats the point I'm making. I don't think the democrats would do better, but thats a low bar.

The French know how to throw a protest 😂
🇫🇷 In France, a peaceful, authorized concert by the Orchestre du Nouveau Monde was disrupted by police tear gas. Musicians kept playing despite the gas, but were eventually forced to stop as exits were blocked. Music met with repression.!

Trump said this on the same day a Russian drone strike killed six civilians, including children, in a Kharkiv park, Russian attacks left 550,000 Ukrainian households without power. Civilian casualties in Ukraine rose 85% in September compared with the previous month.
Trump officially supports Russia's invasion of Ukraine, placing the US squarely on the side of Russia vs Europe. Accepts talks about Ukraine with China and Russia, which would exclude Ukraine. "Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much."
