I see a lot of people predicting/hoping for Twitter’s imminent demise. Well guess what: The carousel never stops turning. You can't get off.
I wish I had video of my family openly crying and cheering, but watching Albert hit 700 (and 699) together with my parents, who raised me on Cardinals baseball, on my phone at our favorite sushi restaurant in Portland is a moment I will never forget. #AlbertPujols
Mostly posting this so @itsjkav will RT it because she’s way cooler than me. Come do fun stuff with us in Brooklyn (or refer some others to do fun stuff with us in Brooklyn). I like to think we’re pretty awesome.

I met @jakeks19 4 years ago & one of the first things we bonded over was our mutual love (obsession) with That Thing You Do! This movie is so important to me & it was such an honor to live vicariously through Jake as he put this masterpiece together. You are my biggest fan ❤️
Twenty-five years ago, the Wonders (or the Oneders, of course) were born.

My mom FT’d me so we could watch history together. I’ve had mixed emotions about baseball for the last year+, but I’m very thankful to this team for bringing me so much joy & reigniting that spark ❤️ (& grateful I saw them kick off the streak in-person). Baseball is the best.
Been struggling to think of the words here. Not 10 minutes after we were talking about him at brunch this morning did we see the news. Mark was the reason I fell in love with basketball. He was always so kind to me and my family in our Utah days. What a huge & devastating loss.
Most of us who “believe” in jinxes know they’re not real. But let us believe!!! They’re fun and harmless and give fans that cross-your-fingers, pit-in-your-stomach, feel-like-you’re-gonna-puke sensation that makes us simultaneously loathe and absolutely love sports.
I don’t do a lot of sharing of my work “on here,” because, well, just follow atYankees. But this spring, I picked up a pro camera for the 1st time in my life. I’m no @ElsaGarrison, but pretty proud of what I could do (and @RyanCallahan13’s photo editing skills).
At the end of the day, sports are businesses and players come and go... but there is no one like Masahiro Tanaka. No one funnier, more respectful, more kind,... and with the best warm-up songs to boot. Gonna miss him a lot 💙

It’s such a joy to share my love & obsession (and eventual study) of film scores with my nearest and dearest. In college, I shared my fave Ennio Morricone piece w/ my best friend. Years later, she walked down the aisle at her wedding to it. RIP maestro. ❤️

Not the best documentary... That being said, I want to thank my co-watcher for not mocking me as I bawled my way through those 2 hours. I love the Cardinals, I love baseball, and summer of ‘98 was the coolest thing ever for 9-year old me. Baseball is the best. #LongGoneSummer
What's the 1999 World Cup winning US Women's Soccer Team up to now?
We checked in with @JulieFoudy, @MiaHamm, @MichelleAkers10, @joyfawcett14, @KristineLilly, @BriScurry, Carla Overbeck, and @brandichastain to find out!
Truly just an incredible way to spend a Friday night. 😎

An absolute LABOR of love, but I’m so thankful for everyone coming together to make this happen. Special shouts to @Picrow for helping bring this vision to life. Proud to be a New Yorker. #WeAreNewYork 💙

There would be no Playtone without Adam Schlesinger, without his That Thing You Do! He was a One-der. Lost him to Covid-19. Terribly sad today. Hanx
Playing “That Thing You Do” on repeat. This is so sad.
Adam Schlesinger, a musician and songwriter highly regarded for his work as a member of Fountains of Wayne and an Emmy-winning songwriter for TV’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,” has died as a result of coronavirus complication wp.me/p2WgDE-1jrYT8
