Northern Cyprus is an illegal Turkish settler-colony on Greek land, so why doesn't the "decolonize everything" crowd have a problem with it?

Against “Dumézilism” and the Reduction of the Gods to Political and Social Functions.
The identification of each God with a particular social function, as proposed by certain historicist interpretations of Dumézil’s trifunctional hypothesis, is theologically problematic.

Watch Al Jazeera do a whole report on the “Israeli colonisation” of Cyprus without mentioning once that Turkish Muslim armies militarily occupy the entire north of the island.
Fucking clowns.

HAF strongly opposes the death sentence imposed on Anojan Sivarasa, a 24-year-old Hindu and Sri Lankan national facing execution in Saudi Arabia over a social media comment deemed blasphemous.
As HAF has long emphasized in its advocacy, blasphemy laws threaten religious freedom and have been used to justify unjust imprisonment and extrajudicial violence. No one should face execution for an expression of opinion, particularly in a case where the reported comment was deleted and an apology was issued.
Protecting religious freedom means safeguarding the right of people of all faiths—and those of no faith—to express themselves without fear of state-sanctioned or extrajudicial violence. Blasphemy laws undermine these fundamental freedoms and deepen divisions between communities rather than foster mutual respect.
HAF calls on Saudi authorities to overturn Sivarasa’s death sentence and ensure that his fundamental rights are protected. We urge the international community to continue pressing for the global repeal of blasphemy laws and for the protection of freedom of expression and conscience for all
Respect for religious beliefs cannot be secured through fear, coercion, or the threat of death.

Plutarch on equality:

It's interesting that Proclus uses *factual* evidence that people change their sex to argue that males and females share the same form, and hence the same virtues.

David Bentley Hart on how (not) to speak about God's attributes 👇
"Analogy cannot span a total antithesis. When we use words like good, just, and love to name God not as if they are mysteriously greater in meaning than when predicated of creatures, but instead as if they bear transparently opposite meanings, then we are saying nothing."

Turkey is historically a pseudo-nation founded after the genocide and expulsion of the natives from Anatolia. Beneath every single rock in “Turkey” there is Greek history that martyrs our Greek presence in Anatolia from 1200 BC. The curse for every Turkish nationalist.

The Turks want the British Museum to return the Greek statues taken from the ancient Greek cities of Anatolia. There is no greater curse for Turkish nationalists, forced to live with the thought that the land they inhabit was Greek for thousands of years.
🔵 British Museum'u ziyaret eden bir Türk, Anadolu'daki antik kentlerden sökülerek Londra'ya götürülen tarihi Nereidler Anıtı karşısında yaşadığı şaşkınlığı dile getirdi:
▪️"Allah aşkına bunu buraya nasıl getirdiniz ya?"
▪️"Şu anda British Museum'dayım.
Arkamda gördüğünüz yapı Türkiye'den, yani antik kentlerimizden söküp getirdiler."
▪️"Dünyayı gezmenize gerek yok, her şey çünkü burada. Ama size nasıl pazarlıyorlar biliyor musunuz? 'The World Museum', yani dünyanın müzesi diye pazarlıyorlar."
▪️"Çaldık demiyorlar tabii ki. Yani bilmiyorum, o kadar karmaşık duygularla buradayım ki anlatamam yani."
