Brian Piccolo (1943-1970) was a HB for
#dabears 1965-69. His friendship with Gale Sayers broke social boundaries during the Civil Rights era as seen in the 1971 movie Brian's Song. His life was tragically cut short when he died of embryonal cell carcinoma at the age of 26.

Today is a new day.
You will get out of it just what you put into it. . . .
If you have made mistakes, even serious mistakes,
there is always another chance for you. And supposing you have tried and failed again and again, you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call “failure” is not the falling down, but the staying down.
~Mary Pickford
You can’t have a bounce back without first having a setback.
Failure is an event - not a person. It’s experience gained to help you with your decision making process moving forward.
The only sign of failure is when you give up. Changing direction is not giving up.
Ask for help.
Lend a hand.
If you’re too busy for people you’re too busy.
Make a difference today

CLASS OF 2022 ATHLETE SCOREBOARD. FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2026, EVENING UPDATE
Five developments across state and federal dockets reshaped the national board today, shifting twelve athletes to denied status while total tracked remains at 522.
The Tenth Circuit unanimously reversed the nationwide injunction in Wisne v. NCAA, finding plaintiffs failed to establish a supported labor market covering all Division I sports. That appellate ruling moves the twelve Wisne athletes from stayed to denied status. It does not overturn independent state court orders.
State court orders remain the primary active shield. In Missouri, Saint Louis University was blocked from playing Robbie Avila tonight after the College Sports Commission enforced the 15-player House settlement roster cap despite his preliminary injunction.
In Arizona, RJ Godfrey filed a third lawsuit, this time against the Arizona Board of Regents seeking eligibility certification, with a hearing set for November 10. In West Virginia, District Judge John Preston Bailey reportedly denied the NCAA stay request for four protected athletes. In Oklahoma, the NCAA moved to dismiss BJ Edwards and opposed additional temporary protection in Tockey.
The national board sits at 309 protected by injunction, 48 under temporary restraining orders, 49 with stayed injunctions, 86 denied, and 30 pending. Athletes who have secured temporary restraining orders at any point holds at 399. All five categories balance to 522 total athletes.
A hearing on RJ Godfrey's certification action against the Arizona Board of Regents on November 10 is the single next event to watch.
