Lovely to chat to Robert again... a proper deep dive into the Coyote vs Acme score!
Oscar and Emmy-winning composer Steven Price joins me for a deep dive into one of my favorite scores of the year: Coyote vs. Acme.
We talk about giving Wile E. Coyote an emotional voice, drawing from the musical legacy of classic Looney Tunes, recording the gloriously unhinged Road Runner choir at Abbey Road and why this surprisingly moving film means so much to audiences after its remarkable journey from the vault to the big screen.
It’s a conversation about comedy, resilience, craftsmanship and the unexpected tenderness hiding inside one of popular culture’s most beloved characters.

I loved Coyote Vs ACME
You will too (🍅 95% FRESH!)
I loved it 3 years ago when I was part of the last audience to see it. I love it even more now that everyone can finally love it too. Everything that went into releasing it has only made it better. See it with some fellow humans, coyotes, birds, rabbits, and pigs but please leave the ACME products at home…

When I first posted this video it seemed like a lost cause. Just a way to share some of the joy we had making a film that would never be seen. Thanks, ACME. But today, remarkably, Coyote vs Acme is OUT!! Thank you to everyone who came together to make this possible.

This is the company trying to keep Coyote vs. ACME from you.
See it in theaters TOMORROW.
Don’t let ACME win.
To Beep or To Meep... Coyote vs Acme soundtrack album, remarkably, is out now in all of the usual streaming places! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this music.

What an absolute hoot! Had tons of anvil sized fun seeing COYOTE VS. ACME at the cinema just now. It's genuinely one of the best and most timely films made by a studio I've seen all year, which makes its labyrinthine path to the screen even more ironic and inspiring. So well made, smartly written and with a gag every 3 seconds, it's a brilliant tribute to Looney Tunes legends Chuck Jones, Tex Avery and Michael Maltese. Five big sticks of dynamite from me. Don't miss!

open.spotify.com/track/1jqgz… It’s a miracle. Steven Price’s brilliant score out NOW. Funny, human, dramatic, big, heartfelt, full of wit and musical easter eggs. Absolutely wild to hear it finally freed from the Acme vault.

It’s not a bit: Coyote vs ACME is one of the year’s best films. Sammy Burch takes an obviously great premise - Wile E Coyote suing ACME for negligence - and carves a razor-sharp, heartfelt meta-knife into corporate greed’s gut. Of course Zaslav tried to bury it. Stunning.

Exactly what Drew said. #coyotevsacme is soooooooooo good. Truly don’t understand why @warnerbros wanted to kill this movie. So happy everyone will get to see this next month.
Happy to report #CoyoteVsAcme was very much worth the wait — hilarious, surprisingly, deeply heartfelt. How anyone would want to shelve a movie that brings so much joy is beyond me. Get excited. It’s the real deal.
