Want to become a student paramedic one day? Here's how to get ahead of the game. 🚑👇
If you're hoping to apply for a student paramedic position with West Midlands Ambulance Service in the future, there are a few things you can do now to help prepare for when opportunities become available.
To apply, you'll need:
✅ Five GCSEs (including English, maths and science) at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
✅ An A Level or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
✅ A full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
✅ A full Category C1 driving licence.
Some of these things take time, so it's worth looking into the requirements now and planning ahead.

We always use our car mirrors to look out for other drivers on the road, but what about motorcyclists?
🏍️ Motorcyclists can be harder to spot on the road, so make sure to look twice or more when pulling out of junctions or manoeuvring between lanes.
